On October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanti will be observed nationwide, resulting in the closure of all banks. Additionally, some states will have holidays due to assembly elections, and there will be closures on festival days such as Dussehra, Sundays, and second and fourth Saturdays.
Even though physical bank branches will be closed, online banking services will operate as usual. The closures will affect transactions that require visiting a branch, while all other transactions can be carried out using online banking or a banking app.

- October 2 (Wednesday): All banks in the country are closed on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Mahalaya Amavasya.
