“Introducing Ladki Bahin Yojana: Great News for Women! Eligible women can receive Rs. 1,500 per month through the new scheme.
Under this scheme, each eligible woman can receive Rs. 1,500 monthly. How do I apply, and what are the qualifications? Let’s find out.
This scheme ensures that every eligible woman receives monthly financial support. The Maharashtra government, led by Eknath Shinde, officially launched the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana scheme today as a Rakshabandhan gift.
This new scheme is expected to benefit one crore women. Inspired by the Ladli Behna Yojana of Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister assured that this scheme would be permanent and aimed at providing economic self-reliance to women and empowering them.
While this scheme is only available to residents of Maharashtra, the Nari Shakti Doot application can be used to apply. Eligible candidates can apply through local administration authorities such as Anganwadis, Gram Sevaks, etc.
Any woman who is a permanent resident of the state, aged 21 to 65, with a family annual income of less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs are eligible to apply. Linking Aadhaar card numbers with bank accounts is mandatory for quick disbursement of funds.
This scheme has already undergone a trial run, with about 30 lakh eligible women receiving Rs. 3,000 each in their bank accounts.”
