Latest IDBI FD Rates: Bank Offers Upto 8% Interest On Fixed Deposits

IDBI Bank, one of the leading private sector banks in the country, has recently announced an increase in interest rates on domestic fixed deposits below Rs 3 crore, effective August 15, 2024.

The bank currently offers interest rates ranging from 3.00% to 7.35% for general customers and 3.50% to 7.85% for senior citizens on deposits with tenures of 7 days to 20 years.

In particular, the bank offers a maximum interest rate of 7.35% to general customers and 7.85% to senior citizens on fixed deposits with a tenure of 444 days.

The bank has announced an increase in interest rates on special fixed deposit tenures of 375 days and 444 days. Additionally, the bank offers senior citizens a 50 basis point higher interest rate than general customers.

The interest rates offered by IDBI Bank on fixed deposits are as follows:

3.00% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 7 days to 30 days.
There is a 3.25% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 31 days to 45 days.
A 4.50% interest rate on fixed deposits with a 46 days to 60 period.
4.75% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 61 days to 90 days.
5.50% interest rate on fixed deposits with 91 days to 6 months tenure.
6.00% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 6 months, 1 day to 270 days.
6.25% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 271 days to one year.
6.80% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 1 year to 2 years (excluding 375, 444, and 700 days).
7.00% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 2 years to 3 years.
6.50% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 3 years to 5 years.
6.25% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 5 years to 10 years.
4.80% interest rate on fixed deposits with a tenure of 10 years to 20 years.
6.50% interest rate on tax-saving fixed deposit with a tenure of 5 years.
