NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme: Free Medical Treatment up to Rs 25 Lakh

It’s great news for the less fortunate in Andhra Pradesh. The government has announced several initiatives that aim to improve access to healthcare for the people. Here are the key points:

The government will merge NTR’s medical services with central medical schemes and introduce a new insurance policy that will provide medical services up to Rs. 25 lakhs. The official announcement will be made by Chief Minister Chandrababu soon.

Minister of State Mines, Underground Resources, and Excise Department, Kollu Ravindra, disclosed that the government will establish 100 Anna canteens across the state, with the first canteen set to open in Machilipatnam on August 15th.

The government has restored the name of ‘Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Vaidya Seva’ to Arogya Shree Trust. This scheme provides free medical services to eligible poor patients and has been renamed multiple times in the past.

The Arogyasree scheme is well-recognized for providing free medical services for over 1038 diseases to eligible poor patients.

The scheme issues Arogyasree cards to individuals below the poverty line, enabling them to access free medical services at government and private hospitals.
