  1. Using a Debit Card: When creating a UPI PIN with a debit card, you must provide the card number, expiration date, and the account holder’s name.
  2. Using Aadhaar OTP: You can also set your UPI PIN without a debit card using your Aadhaar number. First, ensure your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card and bank account.

Steps to Set a UPI PIN Without a Debit Card

To set a UPI PIN using your Aadhaar, follow these easy steps:

  1. Launch your UPI app and enter your bank account details.
  2. Select the UPI PIN settings option, then choose to set your UPI PIN.
  3. Select ‘Aadhaar’ and grant the necessary permissions.
  4. Enter the first six digits of your Aadhaar number.
  5. You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter this OTP.
  6. Click on the “Create New UPI PIN” button.
  7. Enter the OTP and your new UPI PIN again to complete the setup.
