Telangana Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme Application: Youth will Get Rs 3 Lakh Assistance

The Telangana government has announced the implementation of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme, which offers self-employment loans to youth from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and minority communities.

Applications for the scheme will be accepted online starting from March 17. According to the official notification, eligible beneficiaries will receive financial assistance of up to ₹3 lakh to establish self-employment units.

The official portal (tgobmms.cgg.gov.in) provides detailed information about the application process. The SC, ST, and BC Welfare Corporations have issued separate eligibility and selection criteria notifications.

Loan Categories and Subsidy Structure: The government has categorized loans into three segments under the scheme:

Category 1: Loans up to ₹1 lakh with an 80% subsidy; the remaining 20% must be covered by the beneficiary or arranged through bank linkage.
Category 2: Loans ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh with a 70% subsidy.
Category 3: Loans up to ₹3 lakh with a 60% subsidy.

Through this initiative, the Telangana government aims to promote self-employment opportunities and uplift the economic status of marginalized youth in the state.

On Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and the chairpersons of the SC, ST, and Minority corporations held a review meeting at Praja Bhavan to finalize the scheme’s implementation details.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online. Those needing assistance can contact their District BC Welfare Officers or ex officio executive directors of the BC Corporation.

Rajiv Yuva Vikas Yojan Amount

The Telangana State Government is offering financial assistance of up to 400000 to individuals of all castes for self-employment under the Rajiv Yuva Vikas Yojana. A subsidy ranging from 60% to 80% is also being provided.
